Conservation Framing

If you want to preserve your precious memory, artwork or memorabilia then conservation framing is an option.

Choosing your glass is the most visible change to your piece. We use three types of glass for this type of work;

• TruVue 70 which blocks 70% of UV light, and has little to no reflection
• Conservation Clear which blocks 99% of UV light
• Museum glass which has no reflection and 99% UV protection

Combining a conservation matboard and backing is another option for conserving your piece.

Conservation matboard is acid free/pH neutral, lignin free and comes in a range of colours. We carry both alpha-cellulose and 100% cotton rag matboards in our conservation range.

Conservation foam has a 100% cotton rag paper covering front and back to protect your work.
